Important Warranty Information for MCZDIRECT Customers

Warranty for Imported Products
We would like to inform our customers that all products offered on our platform, MCZDIRECT, are imported. Due to the lack of an international warranty provided by manufacturers, the manufacturer's warranty may not be applicable in some cases.
MCZDIRECT Commitment
To overcome this limitation, MCZDIRECT offers a specific seller's warranty for all products sold within the European space, in compliance with European regulations. The duration of this warranty varies by country of purchase:
- Portugal and Spain: 3 years
- France, Belgium, and other EU countries: 2 years (3 years for orders after 1st june 2024)
This warranty covers manufacturing defects from the date of billing. In case of a defect or malfunction, customers must contact our service and return the product for repair. Repairs, including labor and spare parts, will be carried out by our after-sales service partner before returning the product in working condition.
Return Procedure
It is crucial to contact MCZDIRECT before any return to the service center to avoid additional charges. To initiate a warranty return, please contact us via contact@mczdirect.com to receive all necessary instructions. The shipping costs to our after-sales service partner are the responsibility of the customer, while the return of the repaired product is covered by MCZDIRECT.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage due to:
- Improper use of the product.
- Damage resulting from impacts, shocks, falls, the presence of sand, dust, dirt, moisture, battery leaks, fires, thefts, attempted theft, acts of vandalism, war, terrorism, corrosion, contamination, water infiltration, frost, floods, winds, earthquakes, storms, or any other extreme weather condition.
- Accidental or intentional damage.
- Damage due to exposure to moisture or extreme temperature conditions.
- Misuse, inadequate storage, or incorrect handling of the product.
- Damage related to the cleaning of the product (dust, sensor, lenses, etc.).
- Damage caused by using the product with an incorrect power source.
- Violation of the terms of this warranty or the contract.
- Failure to follow the written instructions provided with the product, or those of the manufacturer.
- Damage or defects resulting from negligence by anyone other than us.
- Loss of quality, performance degradation, or damage resulting from the use of spare parts or other components (such as consumables) not produced or recommended by the manufacturer.
- Damage or defects resulting from modifications to the product and/or its software by someone other than our authorized representatives.
- Alteration, illegibility, or modification of the product's serial number.
- Damage or defects resulting from connecting the product to equipment, accessories, software, or networks not approved by the manufacturer.
- Damage due to external causes beyond our control, including but not limited to accidents, fires, or burglaries.
- Repairs or cleaning of the product carried out with inappropriate tools or according to incorrect procedures.
- Defects resulting from attempting to open the product casing for self-repair.
- Loss or damage of data.
- Damage or defects resulting from connecting the product to an unapproved network, or unauthorized modifications to your operating system or network.
- Damage to the display screen (LCD) due to misuse.
- Damage occurring due to inappropriate packaging during shipping to the service center or service agent.
- Damage resulting from the use of waterproof cameras or housings at depths exceeding those recommended.
- Dead pixels not declared within 14 days of receiving the item.
Note on Third-Party Lenses
MCZDIRECT covers repairs due to manufacturing defects, excluding problems related to third-party lenses. The use of such lenses is at the discretion of the user, with no warranty from us regarding the quality or reliability of the focus. In case of problems, the available MFA tools should be used, and the camera and lens returned to the manufacturer for inspection.
Protecting Your Product
We recommend removing any memory card or non-essential accessory before returning the product to us, as MCZDIRECT cannot be held responsible for the loss of data or accessories.
