Never disappointed

Although I carry several lenses in my bag, this one never disappoints. It delivers solid performance every time, whether for portraits, modeling shoots, sporting events or product photography. A must-have for the professional photographer.

Ideal for portraits

I love this lens for portraits. I can shoot at full aperture without any chromatic aberration, with exceptional sharpness. Autofocus is fast and quiet. The lens is heavy enough to ensure good stability, without being too heavy. Very well designed.

Exceptional

I don't often write reviews, as that's usually a matter of personal perspective. But this lens is simply extraordinary. I had the EF version before, and there's no comparison. I don't understand why some people say that the f/2.8 aperture is unnecessary. When I was shooting, I was amazed at how many of my photos were taken at f/2.8. The sharpness is incredible, and the bokeh is surprising for a wide-angle lens. I was hesitating with the 14-35 f/4 L, but if you can afford it, get this one. If you want the best, buy it. If you want to immortalize your memories with perfect photos, this is the lens for you. It's one of my best purchases, and I'm glad I made it. Canon really did a great job this time.
